Artists of the Week

The arts at King’s-Edgehill create an inclusive environment that embraces diversity – not only in who we are but also in our choices of what we pursue and how we express those choices. Creativity and imagination enable us to develop ideas, solve problems, and acquire essential life skills. Intelligence and creativity are overlapping skills, and through the arts, individuals build confidence, develop perspective, and discover their true nature. This week, we are excited to recognize four outstanding Artists of the Week.

Nathan Woo’s '28 passion for the performing arts shines in everything he does! This past weekend, he captivated audiences as Bert in the Junior School’s production of Mary Poppins Jr., earning wonderful feedback for his energetic and engaging performance. Whether on stage in drama, choir, or musicals, or pursuing piano and voice on his own, Nathan’s enthusiasm and dedication to his craft continue to be truly inspiring. A talented musician and performer, he is also a supportive castmate who always strives to give his best. Congratulations, Nathan, keep up the fabulous work!

Willoughby Larder '29 played Jane in Mary Poppins Jr., earning a fantastic response from the audience. Beyond her own outstanding performance, she played an essential role in bringing the show together – teaching choreography, helping castmates with vocal parts in her free time, and offering constant support. It seemed like no matter where one turned, Willoughby was rehearsing with someone! A keen and enthusiastic performer, she excels in drama and music, pursues voice, piano, and pipes on the side, and is always eager to learn and grow. Congratulations, Willoughby, your passion and dedication is truly admirable! We can’t wait to see what you do next.

LB Fisher’s '26 attention to detail and dedication shine in every rehearsal – whether she’s meticulously taking blocking notes, asking insightful questions about character motivation, or leading the way in choreography with her quick learning and focus. Her commitment is undeniable, and she is truly a valued member of the cast.

Ezra Choo '26 is no stranger to the demands of intensive rehearsals, stepping up as a reliable understudy and bringing his larger-than-life energy to the stage. His enthusiasm is contagious – he gives every dance move his all and never fails to bring a smile to rehearsals. His passion for the performing arts is evident, and we are so grateful to have him as part of the team!
