King’s-Edgehill School, located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq nation, was founded in 1788 and is recognized as Canada's first independent school.   • Part Time Junior School Teacher (Math and Science)- 10 Month Contract

    About Our Opportunity

    We are looking for an energetic and dedicated part-time (0.6 FTE) Math and Science Teacher for a 10-month term in our Junior School!
     
    As a Junior School Math and Science Teacher at KES, you will be part of an inclusive, close-knit community working in a highly collaborative environment. You will receive encouragement to embrace new ideas in the classroom and have the support to put those ideas into action! With small classes of 15-18 students, you’ll enjoy getting to know your students and discovering how best to challenge, encourage, and support them in a manner that suits their personal learning styles. Outside of the classroom, you will be actively involved in every aspect of school life, from coaching athletics and supporting our weekly arts program, to accompanying students on school trips and activities!
