Grade 11 Titration Experiment

This week, Grade 11 IB Chemistry students performed a titration experiment to determine the amount of ethanoic acid present in store bought vinegar. This experiment involves titrating a known concentration of sodium hydroxide with vinegar and using mole calculations to determine the concentration of the acid present.

Through this hands-on activity, students were able to better understand the process of titration.
