Honour Guard Welcomes Grandparents!

Grandparents’ Day at King’s-Edgehill School is always a beloved event! It is very well attended by grandparents, and students look forward to this day by preparing many fun activities.

One special way we welcome grandparents to our campus is with an Honour Guard. The cadets in the Honour Guard are resplendent in Highland kilts, doublets, spats, and balmorals, creating an impressive sight.
Shortly before the grandparents arrived, the Honour Guard lined either side of the hall leading into the theatre. As the grandparents walked in, they were greeted with a salute from the cadets and a handshake from the Commanding Officer.

Our Honour Guard team consisted of Band Sergeant Major Master Warrant Officer Jacob Fines-Belcham '25, Drumline Warrant Officer Lillian Blois '27, Michael Denysenko '25, Master Corporal Emery Endres '28, Master Corporal Hyatt Endres '28, Master Corporal Lily-Beth Fisher '26, Sergeant Julien Gingras '27, Sergeant Skye Hussey '26, Sergeant Laura Oulton '27, Master Corporal Nadine Saleh '28, Sergeant Alex Urtheil '26, Master Corporal Abby Woodworth '28, and Master Corporal Harlo Young '28.

Several of our cadets in the Honour Guard were lucky to have their grandparents join them. Overall, this is an outstanding group of cadets!
