Volunteers Needed for the Sixth Annual KES Invitational Debate Tournament!

We are excited to announce that on Sunday, November 24, we’ll be hosting our sixth annual King’s-Edgehill Invitational Debate Tournament! We’re looking for volunteer judges to help make the day a success and welcome you to participate for the full day or choose to join us for either the morning or afternoon session.

 

Judges will receive a thorough briefing on evaluation techniques, ensuring you feel prepared to assess students’ debating skills. Experience or expertise is not required – our goal is for judges to serve as engaged, attentive listeners representing the perspective of the “average citizen.”

With many new schools building their debate programs, this tournament offers a wonderful, supportive environment for debaters of all levels. Your participation would greatly contribute to the growth of the Nova Scotia debate community.
