KES Debaters Moderate Windsor Mayoral Debate

This month, the West Hants Regional Municipality will be electing their Mayor at-large as well as 11 Councillors, one from each of the 11 districts that divide the municipality. Ray-Ray Gingras '26 and Molly Dickinson '26, had the pleasure of moderating Tuesday’s District 10 forum where three candidates, Bonnie Smith, Jamie Juteau, and Brenda Perks responded to issues important to those living in the district. Issues included concerns over the Windsor flood zone, plans to support the growth of businesses in the community as well as hopes of increasing community events in the years to come. The two-hour forum was well attended by the community and Molly and Ray-Ray were incredibly professional in their management of the event. We wish all the candidates luck in the upcoming election and thank the Windsor Business Association for the invitation to take part.
