Second Victory at Rugbyfest for KES

KES went for a second victory this weekend after defeating CK in the morning 15-7 and in the afternoon against Digby 49-7. The Boys showed a lot of spirit and sportsmanship at Rugbyfest at Avon View this weekend.
It is always great to see a team with great players doing fantastic plays and scoreing points. But what is even better is when you have a bunch of players that play as a team and support each other, on and off the field.

And against Digby that was the case. With a few of the KES players injured or bruised up, a lot of the reserves got a chance to start the game for the KES squad. And what was so neat about is that the rest of the players that were resting on the bench, cheered them on throughout the game. There were some spectacular performances by all but special mention goes to those who stepped up to fill the big shoes of the First XV players. They have just made this team so much more competitive within itself. Everyone is fighting for a position on the First XV now that a split will be made in the league, introducing a KES B team in the Tier 2 side.
